Chris Stauffer

Chris Stauffer was born in La Grande Oregon on September 1st, 1990. He is the seventh child of Marc and Teena Stauffer, residents of Enterprise, Oregon who are also owners and operators of Stauffer’s Refinishing - an antique furniture repair, refinishing and reproduction company.

Chris works with his parents in Stauffer’s Refinishing part-time as a co-owner and is active in every aspect of the business. This business has been active for thirty years and Chris has worked there professionally for five of those years.

Graduating from Enterprise High School in 2009, Chris is now a full-time college student attending Eastern Oregon University through their distance learning program. His major is in Business Administration with a focus on Management. Chris loves Wallowa County, woodworking, and community involvement. Because of the flexibility of distance learning, he has the opportunity participate in all three in addition to serving as a Volunteer Fire Fighter for the City of Enterprise.

Chris has been active in volunteer activities associated with the Heritage Center including group projects, fund raising, and policy planning. Now, as a Board Member for the Maxville Heritage Interpretive Center, Chris will take on an administrative role.
