Volunteer- Rebekka Bernotat MLIS

Rebekka graduated from California State University, Fullerton in 2006 with a BA in History. In 2008, she earned her MA in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University.

Rebekka has held library, document control, and knowledge management positions with various companies and institutions including Jacobs Engineering, Coastline Community College, and the Army Corps of Engineers. She stays current in her profession through professional associations, attending seminars, active volunteering, and reading trade publications.

The Maxville Heritage Interpretive Center welcomes Rebekka's knowledge and assistance as the Lead Archivist responsible for spearheading the organizing, cataloging, and safe storage of our digital and print collection. Already her efforts have helped the MHIC secure key Oregon Heritage Grant funding to begin this process. Rebekka's continuing efforts will also develop a vital link that will provide public access on-line for historical and academic research.
