Maxvillle Heritage Exhibits

Maxville Heritage Interpretive Center has enlisted the assessment expertise provided by education director, Linda Rhine with the High Desert Museum. In December of 2011 Linda met with Maxville Heritage staff to discuss exhibit display processes and layout, Linda’s assessment provided MHIC with information and specific steps to begin a redesign of exhibit displays and information placement.

Materials were donated from an old logging cook car that had fallen out of use over the years. Volunteers help to create an exhibit space worthy of our long heritage and logging railroad culture.

This is a work in progress as our the space continues to grow and change. Linda will continue to work with MHIC in creating exhibits that engage our visitors. Be sure and stop by for a visit while you’re in Wallowa.
