“Joseph, OR – 9/16/2025 – The Maxville Heritage Interpretive Center is proud to announce its upcoming Seeding Hope Gala Fundraiser, an event dedicated to celebrating our multicultural history. The Gala will be held at the Oregon Historical Society on October 2nd door open at 5:30pm program starts at 6PM.

The evening will feature catering by Missipi Chef. Recommended attire is casual nice.

Admission is $40 per person. All proceeds will directly benefit the Maxville Heritage Interpretive Center's initiatives, such as supporting our education programming, exhibit creation, outreach, and Maxville site stewardship, which are crucial for preserving and sharing the rich history of Maxville. The organization asks that you share the invitation within their networks.

Our auction will feature an array of exquisite handmade art and unique Pacific Northwest experiences, curated to offer something special for every bidder. You'll find beautifully crafted vessels, and intricate instruments, all created and donated by talented artisans who share our vision. These experiences are designed to create lasting memories and offer a deeper connection to our community.

Founded in 2008, the Maxville Heritage Interpretive Center collects, preserves, and interprets the history of the logging community of Maxville and similar communities throughout the West. MHIC’s mission is to serve Oregon and the greater Pacific Northwest by preserving resources and providing information and education about this little-known chapter of the American experience.
